Nailekhanim Foundation Scholarship

The Nailekhanim Foundation has announced the recipient of its 2024-2025 postgraduate scholarship during its 4th annual award ceremony. This scholarship, awarded to one outstanding female student each year, aims to support academic advancement at the Master’s or Doctoral level, irrespective of nationality or citizenship.
The recipient of this year’s scholarship is Nayanathara Ranmalie Amunarawa from Sri Lanka. Ms. Amunarawa was selected through a competitive process for her academic potential and dedication to her field of study.
The Nailekhanim Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established to honor the legacy of Nailekhanim Isayeva, co-founder of Dunya School and Khazar University. A respected educator, Nailekhanim Isayeva played a key role in the development of both institutions. The Foundation continues her commitment to education by fostering opportunities for talented women pursuing higher academic goals.
The event was attended by notable figures, including state officials, members of the Azerbaijani parliament, ambassadors, and representatives from various embassies. Their presence highlighted the significance of the scholarship and its broader impact on fostering international academic collaboration.
