Juninho completes medical at Flamengo, set to miss three official matches

Olavio Juninho, who got transferred from Azerbaijan's Qarabag to Brazil's Flamengo, has successfully completed his medical examination but will miss the first three official matches, Report informs via Globo.

The results have been sent to Flamengo's delegation in the US. The 28-year-old forward will not join the team's training camp in the United States.

Flamengo will return to Brazil after a friendly match with Sao Paulo on January 20. Juninho will be officially presented to the public upon the team's return.

Juninho will be unavailable for the games against Madureira, Nova Iguacu, and Bangu in the Carioca - Taca Guanabara tournament. His debut is expected on January 25 in a match against Volta Redonda.

Additionally, Qarabag will receive 5 million euros from this transfer. Juninho has been with Qarabag since 2023, winning the Azerbaijan championship and cup. During his time with the club, he made 80 appearances, scored 42 goals, and provided 4 assists.
