Lavrov meets with ambassadors of CIS countries

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a traditional meeting in Moscow with the ambassadors of CIS member states accredited in his country, Report informs, citing Russian MFA.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev also participated in the meeting.
According to the Russian MFA, the results of cooperation in the CIS format in 2024 were summarized during the event.
"The main tasks for 2025 - the year dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the year of peace and unity in the fight against Nazism, have been defined. The importance of further strengthening foreign policy coordination and increasing cooperation in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as in security was emphasized," the statement noted.
